The Urban Studio is the new kid on the block in the heart of Ogden’s lively Historic 25th Street, and wow, this is a spot you need to see to believe. The ultra-cool event space offers a distinctively designed locale to throw a special party, host a unique meeting, hold a craft class, or cook with friends and your favorite chef all in the high-style, newly transformed top floor of a historic 1895 brick building. Editor Brad Mee toured Urban Studio with creator and owner Jo Packham this week and was, once again, floored by her ingenuity and dynamic design ideas. “Jo is a force of nature,” Mee says. “She is one of the most creative and inspiring people I know.” He snapped a few shots of the space, trying to capture it’s authentic, chic-urban character and eye-catching details passionately orchestrated by Packham. A spectacular open chef’s kitchen, shelf after shelf of dazzling glassware and dinnerware collections for use by party-goers, large dining and craft tables for large gatherings, open flexible space and countless design details combine to make this venue truly unique and magical.
