Labor Day weekend marks the last great weekend for a pool party. What better place to splash, sun, revel and relax than this home and terraced yard in the Draper hills built by Tri-City Construction (Dan and Heidi Stewart).
The stairs allow for meandering through the stone terrace gardens and appreciating the collection of perennials and flowering ground cover. While the pool and falls are the central focal point, each level offers its own pleasures: a children’s play structure, trampoline, herb and vegetable raised beds, firepit, a hexagonal gazebo with six loveseat swings, and a large waterfall at the top.
The home takes on an even more dramatic flare at night with lighting on the landscape and the entertainment areas.
The wood-burning pizza oven, full outdoor kitchen loaded with appliances, and lots of options for dining make for party central. The homeowner challenged Dan Stewart to build a beehive- or igloo-shaped pizza oven, and Dan delivered.
Let’s put on our suits and see who splashes the biggest cannonball!
