Red Ledges adds a fitness/wellness facility to the Village Center adjacent to the pool.

Red Ledges, a gated resort community east of Heber City, just completed a new fitness/wellness building in the Village Center adjacent to the swimming pool. The building is designed for views to the Heber Valley and Wasatch Mountains while working out and features a large classroom space for a wide range of offerings lead by the fitness and wellness staff.  Z Design Group in Boulder, Colorado, designed the building, and Okland Construction built it.

The new fitness facility connects to the already existing poolside restaurant. A new canopy extends over a rooftop patio above the restaurant that is accessed from the fitness center.

From the poolside area you can see the fitness center rising behind the restaurant on the hillside.

A receptionist greets Red Ledges arrivals to the fitness facility and coordinates appointments with trainers and schedules for classes.

The cardio machines along the south-facing window wall have views to the pool and Valley.

The ramp in the foreground leads to the new covered rooftop patio where refreshments from the restaurant are served. Window walls continue to through the building and offer western views while working out.

The Red Ledges facility has a wide variety of options for working with weights.

The classroom space is on the east side. It waits for the next group and instructor.

The photos were able to capture the building’s views and the natural light, but there is also an experience of spaciousness, fresh air, and excellent sound attenuation—almost enough to tempt me to work out, but not quite!
