This week snow continued to fall in the Wasatch Back, but the forsythia and fruit trees persevered and are blooming outside my window. Soon spring and summer will burst forth with buds and blooms in the fury that the mountain climate inspires.
Several years ago an eastern magazine asked for photos flowers and gardens, but I think the wild exuberance of my photos of Midway’s gardens lacked the trim, formal controlled displays they had come to expect in that part of the Southeast and they never ran the photos. Without narration, I present them this week to you. Happy spring!
