Entertaining out of town guests? Hunting for the perfect holiday gift? Just have a hankering to marvel at some Christmas lights? The second annual Made in Utah Winterfest is the place to combat all of your season’s needs.
With light displays and scupltures by local artists, cultural programming and local products galore, Winterfest provides a genuinely Utah-true Christmas shopping experience. Utah Stories partnered with The Gateway to bring together an amazing “Winter Wonderland” experience for the entire month of December. The free, family-friendly event includes a market that showcases the best of Utah’s makers: from musicians to breweries!
“We, at Utah Stories are passionate about telling the stories of local makers, small business owners and inspiring local characters. With this event we want to enable our readers to get to know these people and their products,” says Golda Hukic-Markosian Ph.D, the festival director. “At Made in Utah Festival you will find a variety of products and art as well as people from all over the world that made Utah their home. We have been told that at our events are unique because one can see such diversity not only when it comes to makers but visitors as well. “
