Do you know how to swaddle a bottle? Chances are that you’re going to be pouring a lot of wine, bubbly and cheer this season, so you better learn how. Not only does a bottle wrap look high-style, but it helps eliminate drips while upping your presentation. Get wrapping—it’s simple as 1-2-3:
- Fold a square napkin nearly in half diagonally, leaving the underside of the triangle taller than the top layer. Lay the bottle down in the center with its base slightly above the fold.
- Snuggly roll and wrap the bottle, ensuring the interior wrap is tight before covering with the exterior wrap.
- Stand the bottle on end. While holding the napkin, wrap tightly in place, peel the two napkin points much like peeling a banana. This will secure the loose end of the wrap in place.
