
Tomorrow at 10 am the much anticipated doors to West Elm at the City Creek Center open to the public. We were given a sneak peek tour today. From hand-dyed fabrics to paper florals and metallic accessories one thing is for sure, we can and will spend hours here. The overall theme of the store is to have fun with your accessories. Every item has a collaberative back story from seasoned designers such as Allegra Hicks, Confetti System, Sarah Cambell & John Vogel to local etsy artsists Holly Jones (Say Hello), Lisa Steadman, Sycamore Press, and Stacey Foster (Fletcher & Fox). The first 300 guests tomorrow will receive a free tote.

Hot trend: hand made paper flowers, with each new season comes new prints and flowers.

Ombre and dip dye pillows and throws, bringing the color back into Fall.

Give Back Mug Project. 9 Charities, $5 donated to charity based on the design of mug you pick. $5 from ceramic owls goes to St Jude Children's Hospital

Design Lab- Free Design Services in store and in home. They encourage you to bring in samples & provide rug and fabric samples for you to take home.

West Elm is proud to partner with Craft Lake City to showcase local artists in the store. This is the first North American store to have local etsy designers in the store.

Local tie in: In honor of our roots the wall display is a beehive, and the granite is from the same quarry as the stone that is used in the Salt Lake Temple.
