Stripes are one of the hottest pattern trends in fashion these days, and according to the runways at Milan Fashion Week, specifially Dolce & Gabbana's Spring/Summer 2013 collection, they don't seem to be going out of trend any time soon.

The timeless simplicity of the pattern is easy to work with, and continues to pop up on everything from shoes, to handbags, to dresses and scarves.

And as usual, the runways of New York, London and Milan are inspiring a happy union between the worlds of fashion design and interior design.
